The Similan Islands are commonly rated as one of the top 10 dive destinations in the world. The islands lie about 100 km Northwest of Phuket and were declared a National Park in 1982. The Similans are comprised of 9 granite islands which run roughly North to South and numerous small rock outcroppings, with white beaches and tropical jungle above the water and spectacular dive sites in warm, clear waters below the surface. The scuba diving in the Similan Islands varies from gently sloping coral reefs to deep rocky gorges and dizzying landscapes. In general, the East coast dive sites are hard coral reef dives, with some soft corals and a huge variety and abundance of marine life. The diving is fairly relaxed, with weak currents and 30m visibility. The West coast sites of the Similan Islands are slightly more challenging due to their depths and variable currents. Here you find the most incredible submarine rock formations, with huge boulders, swimthroughs and giant fan corals. This unique mixture of diving makes a Similan diving cruise a beautiful and fascinating voyage of discovery that always ends too soon.
Remark : The program may change depending on tide and weather condition The program is not service for pregnant women and child under 1 year old.

When you land on Phuket you will have to take the boat from Chalong or Patong (closer to the islands) that brings you to the Similan Islands within a few hours depending on which Island to visit. Koh Tachai will take up to four hours and Koh Similan only two or three.
The Similan Islands National Park is 85 kilometers northwest of Phuket.
Since there are no Similan Islands hotels you can only stay in the bungalows or on a campsite. The campsite is the budget alternative and can be found on the Islands of Koh Meang, Koh Similan and Koh Tachai. The tents are spacious and offer a place to stay for the night for 2-3 persons per tent.
Most public ferries come into Rassada Pier, which is quite near to Chalong, and not so far from Patong. Similan boats which depart from Phuket do so in the evening, and the sailing time is usually at least 5 hours.
From jam-packed with tourists right in front of Patong Beach, to near deserted beaches on the northern part of the island and to hidden away beaches like Laem Singh. The west side of Phuket serves up all the fabulous beaches from the north end near the airport to the southern end of Phuket.
Phang Nga Bay & James Bond Island. The second group of islands that are a must when island-hopping from Phuket, is Phang Nga Bay Marine National Park. ... Just 40 kilometers off Phuket, many tour companies offer full-day and half-day tours around Phang Nga Bay.
The Similan Islands (Thai: หมู่เกาะสิมิลัน, RTGS: Mu Ko Similan, Thai pronunciation: [mùː kɔ̀ʔ si. mi. lan], Malay: Pulau Sembilan) is an archipelago in the Andaman Sea off the coast of, and part of, Phang Nga Province in southern Thailand.
The tour was organised really well! We visited to most of popular islands and had two 40 mins snorkeling sessions which was pretty amazing! We had three meals which was also good and personally lunch was too big for me so I did not ate everything.
Great trip including 2 snorkeling stops, stop at Donald Duck Bay to climb to the Sail Rock View and stop at island no. 4 to have lunch and explor 2 beaches. the lunch was good, but not more than that. highly recommended.
Awesome places. The island is soooo beautiful! You must go see the view from the top of the rocks! The food received was quite plain and boring, the trip is very long because the island is very far, but the view is worth it.
It was great experience but unfortunately for the second snorkeling activity we found no fish to see at all, food was okay, could have been better, we also expect to see turtle, but none we found. What we like best was the rock formation in Donald duck Island and also white sand and crystal clear sea water.
All good 🙂 food, islands, just snorkeling in all Thailand is poor, corals are dead, no colors but teh tour is 5*
The whole trip was good organized, from pick up to drop off . The breakfast was nice ,the speed boat was a bid shaky for young children .The islands where beautiful , a bid crowded though . The snorkeling was disappointing , because all the corals where dead ,and there where just some fishes around .
Very good experience, the similan island is beautiful, the beach is amazing, very fine sand, crystal clear water, the snookering was amazing, we found a sea turtle during our snookering. Water soda was included, The lunch box was very simple, can be improve. Overall experience was very good.
